Customs clearance in the Czech Republic
Customs clearance in the Czech Republic is carried out in cooperation with Nieten Internationale Spedition, s. r. o. Together, we operate a temporary customs warehouse in our Vožická Street complex in Tábor. We follow the simple model where any customer interested in the customs clearance of their consignment, regardless of whether import or export, authorises Nieten to represent them in the customs procedure. Subsequently, all customs clearance (both for export and import) takes place in our temporary warehouse in Tábor.
Exports from the Czech Republic
Invoices (delivery notes) for the goods with all the essentials must be provided for the purposes of clearance through our temporary customs warehouse.
A scenario where the sender arranges for the customs clearance of the goods is also acceptable.
Imports into the Czech Republic
The clearance through our temporary customs warehouse takes place immediately upon arrival of the collection truck (the truck will not have to wait at customs) as per the instructions of the consignee (we pass on the contact details). We deliver the already cleared consignments.
A scenario where the consignee takes care of the clearance themselves is also acceptable. In such case, we communicate with the customs clearance point before the consignment’s arrival as part of preliminary preparation and then speed up the customs clearance procedure as much as possible (reduce the time of the vehicle waiting for customs clearance at the clearance point).
